Who we are

A Book Writing Company That Starts By Listening

Most people who want to write a book already have the material: a career, a method, a family history or a story that will not leave them alone. What they lack is the time and the craft to shape it. HivesPublisher exists for that gap. We interview you, draft in your voice and carry the manuscript all the way to a live retail listing.

Not sure what the book should be?

A first call is free. We help you decide the angle, the reader and the format before any money changes hands, so you commit to a plan rather than a hunch.

Want to see how we work first?

Ask for a writing sample in your genre and meet the person who would be assigned to your project. Trust is easier when you have read the work.

How it works

How A HivesPublisher Book Project Runs, Step By Step

  1. 1

    Tell us about the book

A first call covers the idea, the reader you have in mind and how you want the book to sound. You get a written project summary to approve before anything is drafted.

  2. 2

    Research and chapter outline

Your writer gathers sources, interviews you where needed and returns a chapter-by-chapter outline. Nothing is written in full until you have signed off on the structure.

  3. 3

    First drafts, in batches

Chapters arrive in small groups so your comments shape the next batch. Corrections early on are cheap; corrections at the end are not.

  4. 4

    Editing and proofreading

A second person reads the full manuscript for structure and style, then a proofreader checks it line by line for errors.

  5. 5

    Layout and file preparation

The text is typeset for print and ebook, and the files are checked against retailer upload rules before anything goes live.

  6. 6

    Release and promotion

Your book is published through your own retailer accounts, and we help you plan the launch, from page copy to first reviews.

How we work with authors

What Working With Our Writing Team Looks Like

You are the author. Our writers work alongside you: they interview you, research the subject, draft the chapters and revise them until the book says what you meant. You supply the knowledge, the stories and the final decision on every page. Business leaders, physicians, coaches and first-time authors all work this way.

The paperwork is plain. A confidentiality agreement comes first and your drafts stay private. When the book is finished, the copyright moves to you in full and you choose how any contributors are credited. You can hire us for the whole process or for a single stage such as editing or cover design.

Why authors stay

Six Reasons Authors Keep Working With One Team

01

Writers matched by genre

A memoir needs a different writer than a space opera. We assign people who already read and write in your category.

02

Confidential by default

An NDA is signed before you share anything, and your name is the only one that appears on the book.

03

Pricing you can read

You get a written quote that lists what is included. Royalties are never shared with us, now or later.

04

Revisions until approved

Ask for changes on any approved outline or chapter. We keep going until you are happy to sign off.

05

Books with a point of view

We push for a clear angle and a distinct voice, so the book is memorable rather than merely complete.

06

One named contact

A project manager owns your timeline, answers messages and tells you what happens next at every stage.

Author feedback

What Authors Say After Publishing

The outline came together faster than I expected. My writer kept asking questions until my own argument was clear to me, and the draft that followed sounded like my talks.

Daniel R.Author, leadership book

I worried about handing over private stories. The interviews felt unhurried, nothing went into the book without my say, and the result is something my family treasures.

Maya S.Memoir author

Over a long manuscript the team kept my magic rules consistent and caught a timeline slip I had missed. Cover and layout files uploaded without a single rejection.

Questions Authors Ask Before They Start

Is it normal to hire a professional writer for my book?

Yes. Publishers, executives and public figures have worked with professional writers for generations. You provide the ideas, experiences and final approval, while the writer handles drafting. Many authors also thank their writer in the acknowledgments, and that choice is entirely yours.

How much does it cost to have a book written professionally?

The price depends on word count, research needs, genre and the level of editing you want. After a short call we send a written quote that itemises each stage, so you know the full cost before work begins.

How long does a professionally written book take?

Most projects run between three and six months from the first call to a finished manuscript. Longer books, heavy research and slower feedback rounds extend that, while a short book can be finished sooner.

Who owns the copyright and royalties?

You do. Copyright passes to you when the final payment is made, and we never take a share of royalties. Your book is published under your own retailer accounts, so earnings go directly to you.

Can you help if I have already written part of my book?

Yes. We can continue your draft, restructure it, edit it or simply proofread and format it. Send what you have and we will recommend the smallest amount of work that gets it to publishing standard.

Which services can I buy on their own?

Every service is available separately: editing, proofreading, formatting, translation, cover design, an author website, audiobook production, publishing setup and marketing support.
